Özet

Discussions on the Origin of the Qur'an in western scholarship became increasingly popular since the 19th century. The topic has an important polemical side but the theories on the study of origin has also a deep root in the general western thought, and particularly in Comparative Study of Religions and Orientalist discourse. In this article, the emphasis was made on the interdisciplinary study of Orientalist literature.
