The effect of geographical factors in the development of a region or location is undeniable. The land shapes, characteristics of the climate, the structure of the soil and the water springs - all of which compose the basis of our subject-are influential in the formation and continuation of various activities, mainly those related with agriculture and tourism. The better the natural characteristics of a region such as its location, land shapes, climate, and water springs as well as its human characteristics such as the structure of the population and the economic activities are determined; the more the development and growth targets for the region would be successful.
