The purpose of this study is to bibliometrically analyze the 147 academic publications between years 2005 and 2014, which are addressed Istanbul University Faculty of Business Administration, Business Management and Organization Department in terms of dispersion through years, types, co-authorship, author affiliations, language, publication source, research type, scope, methodology, implications and bibliographies. The study claims attention in regard to its emphasis on describing a particular period in a university department's institutional history in terms of its academic output. Besides, the study is expected to contribute to the management and organization literature as well as show originality by taking an academic department as a level of analysis.
