Özet

ÖZET Agresif periodontitis, sistemik olarak sağlıklı bireylerde yaşamın erken dönemlerinde gelişen, periodontal dokularda kısa sürede oluşan yıkım ile tanımlanır. Periodontal hastalığın ilerleme potansiyeli nedeniyle ortodontik tedavi süreci klinisyenler için zor bir süreçtir. Şiddetli vakalarda, dişlerin patolojik migrasyonu ve diş kaybı görülebilir. Bu durumun estetik ve fonksiyonel rehabilitasyonunda ortodontik tedavinin rolü büyüktür. Ortodontik tedavi sadece periodontal hastalığın ilerlemesini önlemek için değil, aynı zamanda özellikle genç hastalar için ulaşılabilir en iyi estetik ve fonksiyonel sonuca ulaşarak bireyin yaşam kalitesini yükseltmeyi hedefler. Bu çalışmada, agresif periodontitisli hastalarda aktif ortodontik tedavi öncesi, esnası ve sonrasında değerlendirme ve takip için literatürdeki öneriler derlenmiştir. Ayrıca agresif periodontitisli kadın hastada, durumun tedavisi amacıyla ortodontik-periodontal multidisipliner yaklaşım ile uygulanan tedavinin sonuçları sunulmuştur. Anah tar Ke li me ler: Agresif periodontitis; ortodonti; alveoler kemik kaybı; tedavi ABS TRACT Aggressive periodontitis is defined by the rapid destruction of periodontal tissues that develops in early decades of life in systemically healthy individuals. Orthodontic treatment process, due to the potential of progression of periodontal disease is a great challenge for clinicians. In severe cases, pathological migration and tooth loss can be seen and orthodontic treatment has a great role in the aesthetic and functional rehabilitation of this pathological condition. Orthodontic treatment aims not only to prevent the progression of periodontal disease, but also to increase the quality of life of the individual by achieving the best aesthetic and functional result, especially for young patients. In this study the recommendations in the literature were compiled for evaluation and follow-up regarding orthodontic treatment in patients with aggressive periodontitis. In addition, the results of treatment with an orthodontic-periodontal multidisciplinary approach in a woman patient with aggressive periodontitis are presented.
