The Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) was an important state in world history that implemented politics, social, and economic policies in order to establish socialist principles in Kazakhstan. These policies included collectivization policies that forced the nomadic and semi-nomadic populations to settle down and confiscated the wealth of the people known as kulaks. In this context, researchers find great importance in accessing information about the USSR’s collectivization policies in Kazakhstan. This study provides the catalog information about 30 archival documents that that this study identified and were recently made available in the Presidential Archive and the State Central Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan and briefly introduces these documents. In addition, the study aims to guide researchers who plan to study the Soviet Union’s collectivization policies in the geography of Kazakhstan.
