Özet

Abstract: Agricultural activities have maintained their importance throughout our civilization's history and

continue to do so. There is a rapid transformation in agricultural activities due to the rapidly increasing world

population and in parallel with the increasing food supply. Urban agricultural practices, on the other hand,

are one of the main agricultural issues that have been emphasized worldwide in recent years. At this point,

the historical gardens in Istanbul appear as special areas that should be focused on. Yedikule Bostans are forworld common heritage not just for Turkiye it has a special and important place due to be the world’s oldest

urban agriculture. Nowadays further increase in the importance given to present natural and

tangible/intangible cultural values, in question a sustainable lifestyle with those values design has become a

very important. Yedikule Bostans are frequently it has to engage the public and is also because of with its

strategic location and the cultural values. In the last few years Bostans are it has become more widely

discussed because of completely remove and re-edit. Bostans are these discussions around, it is discussed byhistorians, landscape architects, city planners, economists and many others. Against it this event’s it poses a

huge gap analysis was not carried out focus on geography and it has to be addressed as a whole geographical

conditions. This should be arranged in an integrated manner and be transferred to the next generation of

Yedikule Bostans also as a lack of respect emerges.
