The Johari Window Test is a test that shows how much a person recognizes himself / herself and reflects to his surroundings. The purpose of this pilot study, which is carried out on the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral level students of İstanbul University Faculty of Economics Department of Tourism Management, is to determine how much the students of different age groups, different gender and different levels of education know themselves and how the Johari Window introduces itself. It is determined. Eight undergraduate, three master and four doctoral
students (eight female, seven male) were included in the study at Istanbul University, Faculty of Economics, Department of Tourism Management.
Two-factor ten-item Johari Window Test was used in the study. Female students' open spaces and hidden areas were observed to be higher; the blind areas and unknown areas of the male students were higher. While open field level was higher in undergraduate students; It was found that the level of hidden area was higher in the students who received doctorate education. In addition, it was determined that the blind and unknown areas of the students who received doctorate education were also higher. The open field of the students who were receiving master's degree was higher than that of doctorate students and the level of blind area was higher in doctorate students. The
hidden field level is high in undergraduate students after doctoral students; however, it was found to be lower in postgraduate students. It is seen that the level of unknown field of undergraduate and graduate students is much lower than that of doctorate students.
