Özet

Although it is known that cognitive factors have a significant role on entrepreneurial activity, in this article, we tried to understand the moderator role of cognitive factors in the effect of entrepreneurs, who are known to be responsible for seeing opportunities, on their entrepreneurial activities. The data of this study is based on the Adult Population Survey Individual Level Data of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) for Turkey in 2016. The sample of this study consists of 2411 people who participated in the Adult Population Survey in Turkey. The hypotheses we designed based on the moderator effect of the cognitive factors, which we used as “Perceived Capabilities” and 7 “Fear of Failure”, in the relationship between Perceived Opportunities and Entrepreneurial Activity, were confirmed within the scope of the research.
