Özet

This study is concerned with the treatment strategies for industrial wastewaters from a safety match making plant. In addition, practical considerations related to the application of such strategies to an existing safety matches making facility are discussed. A chemical treatment procedure was developed to transform potentially flammable wastewater, due to its red phosphorus content, into a safe form.
