Abstract

New azanaphtoquinone compounds with aromatic moiety were synthesized and their structures were defined by Fourier transform infrared, (CNMR)-C-13-N- , H-1 NMR and mass spectra. The activities of synthesized azanaphthoquinones as antimicrobial agents against three strains of Gram-positive, four strains of Gram-negative and as well as against three strains of fungi were also investigated.
