In this study, we investigate an alternative gravitational model that includes both a
slowdown and an accelerated expansion phase of the Universe. In this context, we
examine various cosmological implications using the Hubble function H(z) directly
obtained from the linear redshift parameterization of q(z). Furthermore, we determine
model parameters that are consistent with observational data by including the H(z),
Pantheon and combined H(z) + Pantheon analysis datasets. We also analyze various
geometric parameters, including the slowdown parameter, the state finder and Om(z)
diagnostics, to evaluate the Dark Energy (DE) behavior predicted by the default model.
