Observations. A 29 year-old female patient with PLEVA was treated with pentoxifylline, a drug that increases peripheral drug flow. Pentoxifylline was administered 400 mg b.i.d. per os for 15 days. Skin lesions resolved leaving hypopigmented macules. No recurrence was observed in two months' period. Conclusion. Since vasculitic changes occur in PLEVA, pentoxifylline may be helpful in the improvement of skin lesions of this disorder.
