Özet

Diş hekimliğinde estetik beklentilerin gün

geçtikçe artması ve rezin kimyasındaki son

gelişmelerle beraber, fiziksel ve mekanik özellikleri

geliştirilmiş yeni nesil dental kompozitlerin kullanımları

artmıştır. Özellikle de seramik doldurucular ile

güçlendirilmiş seromer adı da verilen hibrit kompozit

reçineler, inley ve onley restorasyonlar, sabit ve

hareketli protezler, implant-destekli restorasyonlar ve

aşamalı yükleme protokollerinde ve restorasyonların

diş eti modelajında kullanılabilmektedirler. Bu literatür

derlemesinde, diş hekimliğinde kullanımları giderek

yaygınlaşan seromerlerin avantaj, dezavantaj,

endikasyon, kontrendikasyon ve uygulama alanları

anlatılmıştır.

With the increasing expectations of esthetics in

dentistry day by day and by the help of the latest

developments in resin chemistry, the use of new

generation composites that have improved physical

and mechanical properties has increased. Especially,

hybrid composite resins reinforced with ceramic fillers

and also called ceromers can be used in inlays and

onlays restorations, fixed and removable dentures,

implant-supported restorations, progressive loading

protocols and for maintaining the contours of gingiva.

This literature review discusses the advantages,

disadvantages, indications, contraindications and

applications of ceromers which are gaining popularity

in dentistry.
