Abstract

Background: Partial oxygen saturation (SpO(2)) increases within minutes during transition from the intrauterine to extrauterine life. This study aims to determine the postnatal course of pulmonary regional oxygen saturation (rSO(2)) measured by Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS).
