Özet

İktisat literatüründe para yanılsamasının ampirik olarak test edilmesi son yıllarda gelişerek yaygınlık kazanan memnuniyet anketleri ile mümkün hale gelmiştir. Memnuniyet anketlerinden elde edilen gelir memnuniyeti düzeyleri faydanın doğrudan ölçülmesi icin kullanılmaktadır. Bu makalede Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu'nun (TÜİK) 2003-2009 yıları arasıda yaptığı Yaşam Memnuniyeti Anketi'nden elde edilen verilerle yeni türde bir fayda ölçüm yöntemi kullanıarak para yanısaması test edilmektedir.

 

It’s been made possible to ampirically test money illusion by using survey questions on satisfaction developed and applied widespread in recent years. Income satisfaction levels derived from satisfaction surveys are used for the direct measure of utility. This article works with the data from Turkish Statistical Institute’s (TUIK) Life Satisfaction Survey for the years 2003-2009 and uses a new type of utility measurement to test money illusion.
