Abstract
BACKGROUND: Multifocal and multicentric (MF/MC) breast cancers have been reported to be associated with increased lymph node metastases. The limited data on this issue prompted LIS to investigate the pathologic and clinical differences between unifocal and MF/MC breast cancer.
