A sixty-one year old female patient was admitted to our hospital due to dyspnea and angina pectoris. The patient was investigated by the methods of echocardiography, Tc-MIBI SPECT myocardial perfusion scintigraphy, nuclear magnetic resonance and angiocardiography. The diagnosis was apical hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. In this article, this interesting and rarely seen case was reported, and related literature was reviewed.
