Özet

The Archaeology Institute of Academy Sciences of Uzbekistan and the Research Institute of Turkology of Istanbul University have carried out archaeological works in South Sogdiana Region (Kashkadarya) in 2003-2013. As a result of these works, a palace ruin (5-6th. centuries) in Yalpak Tepe City in Guzar Oasis and a temple ruin (3-4th. centuries) in Yerkurgan City in Karshi Oasis have been unearthed. At the same time archaeological surveys have been carried out in the oases of Karshi and Guzar.
