Özet

Günümüzde suistimal, küresel anlamda işletmelerin karşı karşıya kaldığı ve işletmelerin sürekliliğini tehdit eden en yaygın problemlerden biridir. İşletmelerin sürekliliklerini sağlayabilmeleri ve faaliyetlerine devam edebilmeleri için suistimal ile mücadele konusu kritik önem taşımaktadır. İşletmelerde suistimal farkındalığının sağlanması ve korunması ise suistimal ile mücadele konusunun en önemli yapı taşlarından birini oluşturmaktadır. Bunun sebebi, işletmelerde gerçekleşebilecek potansiyel suistimallere karşı mücadele sürecinin, öncelikle o işletmede suistimal farkındalığının geliştirilmesi ile başlamasıdır. Çalışmamızda suistimal farkındalığının suistimal ile mücadele sürecindeki öneminden hareketle, sigorta sektöründe suistimal farkındalığı konusu Türkiye Sigorta Birliği’nin 2021 yılı Prim Üretim Sıralamalı raporunun sonuçlarına göre seçilen ilk on sigorta işletmesinin faaliyet raporları üzerinde yapılan içerik analizi yöntemiyle incelenerek değerlendirilmiştir.

In today’s World, corruption and abuse has been one of the most common problems faced by organizations globally and threatening the sustainability of organizations. A matter of fighting against corruption has great importance for organizations to ensure their sustainability and continue their operations. Ensuring and preserving the awareness of corruption is one of the most important elements of the issue of fighting against corruption matters. The reason for this is that the starting point of the process of fighting against potential corruption that may occur in organizations is to develop the awareness of corruption in that organization, primarily. In our study, based on the importance of the awareness of corruption in the process of fighting against corruption, the issue of the awareness of corruption in the insurance industry has been considered by the content analysis method made in the annual reports of top ten insurance companies according to the premium production report issued by Association of the Insurance Companies of Turkey in 2021.
