Özet

There are three different types of crime in TCC Art. 216 which regulates the crimes of provoking people to hatred and hostility or contempt. The first of these crimes is the crime of publicly provoking a group of people to hatred or hostility against another group belonging to a different social class, religion, race, sect, or of another origin and therefore cause an obvious and close danger for public security. The second one is the crime of public contempt of a group of people based on social class, race, religion, sect, gender or regional differences. The third one is the contempt of religious values adopted by a part of the people. This act must also be convenient for disrupting public peace. Analysed crime types are examples of different types of danger crimes. In this study, these crime types are examined with their elements.
