Abstract

Aim of this descriptive-correlational research is to determine the relationship between high school students' attitudes toward future and subjective well-being. Universe of research is included final year students who attended high school at Istanbul in Turkey. Research was performed with 696 students. Data were collected with "Information Form", "Attitudes toward Future Scale", "Adolescents' Subjective Well Being Scale". Data were analyzed with SPSS. Results of the research showed that high school students have positive attitude toward future and high subjective well-being. There is poor positive significant correlation between high school students' attitudes toward future and subjective well-being. This research is important in terms of lighting future and life feelings of teens who are future of nation. (C) 2013 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
