Özet

Recognition is one of the means of establishing paternity between father and child. As a result of the established paternity, the recognizing person and child have reciprocal rights and obligations. The recognizing person's responsibility to cover medical and educational expenses of the child is deemed to be among the person's principal obligations. The child is the claimant thereof. The mother or any other third party who has already covered medical and educational expenses of the child is entitled to claim reimbursement thereof against the recognizing person. The mother can also raise any other claim against the recognizing person in connection with her pregnancy. These claims are among the financial obligations to be performed against the mother and any other third party. However, the nature and scope of such obligations of the recognising person differ according to the entitled person. This article examines the scope, nature, and sources of the above-mentioned obligation in light of the personality of the claimant.
