Özet

Bu çalışmada, peygamberimiz Hz. Muhammed’in rüya anlayışı ele alınmaktadır.
Some Dreams of Prophet Muhammad and Examples of His Dream Commentaries This article examines the concept of dreams from the viewpoint of Prophet Mohammed. All the relevant parts of the essential traditional sources (i.e., hadith sources) that are related with dreams have been studied, one by one, to determine what his perception of this issue was.. He interpreted a variety of dreams for us, concerning a myriad of subjects. Some of the dreams were concerned with the worldly life. whıle others were concerned wıth the condition of his community in the future. There are also sources that show that Prophet Mohammed saw God and other prophets, in particular Prophet Abraham, Moses, and Jesus in his dreams. He related every dreams to his companions and interpreted them. He also interpreted the dreams of his companions. He taught them the aspects of those things about which they should be careful when interpreting dreams, how to interpret nightmares, and many other matters, as well as giving them information about when and who (i.e. people with special characteristics) can have visionary dreams. All these matters will be handled and examined according to the traditional Islamic point in this presentation.
