Özet

In today's world, a country's ability to design and produce is becoming increasingly crucial. This ability has a direct impact on society's economic prosperity and safety. To continue to advance this ability, countries need to take their own characteristics such as geographical, environmental and scientific into account. Hereby, the development of the shipbuilding industry in coastal countries is an expected situation. The shipbuilding industry, which enhances the export of our country, is one of the areas where Turkey is successful in terms of production. It would be beneficial to conduct a study that will help specify the right projects in order to ensure better sustainability and development in this sector. This process can be considered as an MCDM case. The main purpose of this study is to determine the most appropriate project type by creating a decision-making framework to evaluate the project type selection in a multi-dimensional condition with the data received from naval experts and shipyards. In this study, after the criteria are identified, a detailed decision-making model will be specified and implemented. The suggested method and results can be used to make a project decision for high-tech shipyards after sufficient data has been collected.
