In this study, which consisted of two main parts, the first part presented both national regulations on the right to environment in Turkish law and international regulations adopted by Turkey by virtue of being a party to international regulations. The second part discussed certain special procedures that could be applied in Turkish law for the protection of the right to environment. Finally, in the last part, considerations on what the law should be (de lege ferenda) were made in view of the existing law (de lege lata).
