Özet

Akıllı, Y.E. (2010). Akilli Y.E. (2010). Finite Element Stress Analysis of Different Implant Materials and Superstructure Materials Stress Distribution in Posterior Mandibula Supporting bone. Istanbul University, Institute of Health Science, Department of Oral Implantology. Phd Thesis. İstanbul. The implant and superstructure with the use of different materials consisting of vertical and oblique in the posterior region of the cortical bone chewing force that they created in front extreme stress. In this study, the posterior region of the free ending cases using implants made of different materials and the fixed super structures, the lower jaw bone creates tensions in the finite element stress analysis was aimed to evaluate with.in these. The evaluation of these stresses will be a guidance for the clinicians applying these treatments. The variable models designed in a computer program will be given different vectors of forces in a computer medium and then examined and compared to each other using the finite element stress analysis. The bone model, implants, posts and restorations, and related anatomic processes will be modelled in a computer program. The constructed models will be transfered to another program in order to apply the force vectors imitating the functional forces in the mouth. The arised stress distribution will be figured out with the aid of finite element analysis method. The conclusions will be commented. In this study four different three dimensional models will be constructed in a computer program. All the models will be taken from posterior edentulous mandibula. In the place of second premolar, first molar and second molar various implant and cantilever placements will be performed .The cortical plate will be 1.5 millimeter wide while the surrounding bone left will simulate the cancellous bone. The models will be transfered to another computerized program and the applied factors distribution will be calculated and evaluated with finite element analysis. The data obtained will be compared to each other and to the data obtained in other studies. These comparisons would establish dominant and weak sides of these treatments. The contribution of our study to previous researches: There is inadequate data in the literature related to the prognosis of the different implant and sperstructure materials applied in the edentulous posterior mandibula with D2 type of bone. The examination of the force distribution in the implants applied in this part of mandibula will make the prognosis of the treatment more predictable. Furthermore, the conclusions obtained in the end of this study will help the clinicians give their decisions related to these treatments.
