Özet

This chapter intends to introduce two relatively new terms, ecofeminism and ecopoetics, with a desire to unite this feminist-environmental movement with the contemporary critical approach to nature in poetry and literature, in general, to come up with the term ecofeminist ecopoetics. Ecofeminist ecopoetics strives to trace and discuss ecofeminist patterns in text-making with specific focus on the use of language, subjects such as nature, nonhuman animals, and human others. This chapter proposes that Duffyesque poetry, through a close reading of her selected poems with ecofeminism and ecopoetic, can be recognised as ecofeminist ecopoetics.
