ELOCUTIO Y TÉCNICAS DE TRADUCCIÓN
Si consideramos la traducción como un proceso comunicativo, podemos analizar sus distintos niveles desde un punto de vista retórico, entendiendo la retórica en su sentido clásico y contemporáneo de disciplina que se ocupa del estudio del discurso. Así, el proceso traductor en sí mismo sería un proceso metafórico, los problemas culturales pueden analizarse desde el punto de vista de la inventio; los pragmáticos pueden tratarse en términos de la intellectio; la dispositio sirve para entender cuestiones relativas a los géneros y subgéneros; y la elocutio para sistematizar los fenómenos más puramente lingüísticos.
No se trata de hacer un paralelo entre figuras retóricas y técnicas de traducción sino, partiendo de las operaciones básicas de la quadripartita ratio (adición, omisión, trasposición y permutación) y de los niveles de semiosis propuestos por Charles Morris (sintáctico-semántico-pragmático) de manera similar a como hace el Grupo μ con las figuras retóricas, podemos establecer un cuadro que nos permita sistematizar las técnicas de traducción de las que habla Hurtado Albir a partir de los procedimientos técnicos de Vinay y Dalbernet.
Como ejemplos utilizaremos algunas traducciones de poesía al turco y al español.

ELOCUTIO AND TRANSLATION TECHNIQUES
If we consider translation as a communicative process, we can analyze its different levels from a rhetorical point of view, understanding rhetoric in its classical and contemporary sense as a discipline that deals with the study of discourse. Thus, the translation process itself would be a metaphorical process, cultural problems can be analyzed from the point of view of inventio; pragmatics could be dealt in terms of intellectio; the dispositio serves to understand issues related to genres and subgenres; and the elocutio to systematize the most purely linguistic phenomena.
We do not pretend to stablish a parallel between rhetorical figures and translation techniques, but rather, based on the basic operations of the quadripartita ratio (addition, omission, transposition and permutation) and the levels of semiosis proposed by Charles Morris (syntactic-semantic-pragmatic ) in a similar way as Groupe μ did with the rhetoric figures, we can establish a framework that allows us to systematize the translation techniques mentioned by Hurtado Albir, based on the technical procedures of Vinay and Dalbernet.
As examples we will use some translations of poetry into Turkish and Spanish.
