Abstract

Disposing large amounts of waste material generated as a result of developing mining activities is of great importance, especially in environmental point of view. Numerous methods have been developed in order to solve this problem. Among these methods, paste technology is distinguished due to the advantages it offers. Paste technology is becoming widely used and one of the main reasons behind this is that it amends the negative environmental effects of waste material. This paper reviews the necessities of using paste technology in order to minimize environmental risks, and the field behaviors of paste material in environmental aspects.
