Özet:

oz Ekonomik ve toplumsal etkilerinin yanında bireysel yıkımları da beraberinde getiren işsizlik tehlikesine karşı alınan ekonomik politikaların yanında, bunun meydana getirdiği olumsuz sonuçlarını gidermek için uygulanan sosyal güvenlik tedbirlerinden birisini oluşturan işsizlik sigortası, bireyin uğramış olduğu gelir kaybını kısmen de olsa telafi amacı gütmektedir. Ülkemiz de işsizliğin tazminine yönelik uygulanan işsizlik sigortası ile ilgili çalışmalar 1950'li yıllardan itibaren başlamasına rağmen ve bu konuda bir çok kanun tasarısı yapılmasına rağmen, ancak 1999 yılın da kanunlaşmış ve 01.06.2000 tarihi itibari ile uygulamaya geçmiştir. İlk defa sosyal güvenlik sistemine girmesinin de etkisi ile bir takım eleştirileri de beraberinde getiren işsizlik sigortasının uygulama sürecinde bu eksikliklerin giderilebileceği umulmaktadır. ABSTRACT Political solutions were taken against unemployment threat which causes individual corruptions besides its economical and sociological effects. Unemployment insurance, one of the social security precautions, has accured as a result of these political solutions whose aim is to minimize the loss in the incomes of individuals. Although the first studies related to unemployment insurance started in the 1950's and many draft locus were made about this topic, unemployment insurance law was accepted in 1999 and has been implemented since first of June, 2000. As a result of its acceptance to social security system, unemployment insurance law was exposed to a lot of criticism. İt is hoped that during the implementation era deficiencies in the law will be remorued.
