The Dissertation explores the Totemisms and Animisms of the ancient Türks in the ancient Türkic written sources. Totemism and Animism is considered one of the world's earliest religious worldviews of people. Totemism is the view of groups of people associated with certain deified animals. The close proximity, kinship, or supernaturalness of such relationships is the most mysterious part of totemism, which arouses the high interest of researchers.Totemism is the belief that the vital activity of any kind, tribe or individual is associated with their true ancestor, a certain animal, plant, etc. In a sense, totemistic representations are a collection of ideas about animals and nature, man and space.During the period of totemism, society consisted of small groups of people, each of which has its own totem. As a rule, the totem was originally an animal, or a bird, or a plant, etc., that is, "what can be eaten." Less often, in the later period, the totem could be metal, stone, celestial bodies, etc. From this or that totem, be it an animal, a bird or a plant, the totemic group traces its kind. In other words, he considers himself to be his distant descendants.
