Özet:

Ill OZ Karadeniz kıyılarımızda taraçalar ile ilgili çok sayıda çalışma yapıldığı halde, bu taraçaların ayrıntılı olarak incelenerek birbirleriyle korelasyonu ve kesin olarak yaşlandırılması çalışmaları eksik kalmıştır. 2000 yılında "Karadeniz Kıyılarımızda Denizel Taraçalar Meselesi" adlı seminer çalışmamızda tespit ettiğimiz bu problem ile "Karadeniz Kıyılarımızdaki Denizel Taraçaların Radyometrik Yaş Tayinlerine Dayalı Korelasyonu ve Neotektonik Yorumu" adlı bu çalışma ortaya çıkmıştır. İnceleme sahamızda taraça lokasyonlarına ait 1/25 000 ölçekli topografya haritaları, hava fotoğrafları ve jeoloji haritaları kullanılmıştır. Arazi çalışmaları ile tespit edilen bazı taraçalara ait stratigrafik kesitler çizilmiş, kum ve çakıl örnekleri yorumlanmış, bulunan fosiller tanımlanmış ve mikrofosil analizleri uygulanmış ve de dar kapsamda, sahanın jeomorfolojisi incelenmiştir. Taraça lokasyonlarının jeomorfoloji haritaları ve stereoskop ile üç boyutlu gözlemlenebilen taraçaların ve yakın çevresinin fotojeomorfoloji haritaları çizilmiştir. Bu haritalar ve saha gözlemleri ile bölgenin neotektonik gelişimi yorumlanmıştır. Bu çalışma ile ilk kez Karadeniz kıyılarımızın batısında fosilli bir taraça tespit edilerek radyometrik olarak yaşlandırılmış ve Karadeniz kıyılarımızın batısında fay kontrollü bir yükselme bulunmuştur. ABSTRACT Although in the Black Sea Coasts of Turkey a lot of investigations has been done about the marine terraces, that the detailed correlation of them with each other and the precise age determinations and today's neotectonic progress of the Black Sea Coasts are insufficient. Because of the problem that we determined it in 2000 with a seminar work called as " The Marine Terraces Problem in the Black Sea Coasts", this study that is called " The Correlation of the Marine Terraces of the Black Sea Coasts of Turkey by means of Radiometric Age Determinations " were prepared. In our study area 1/25 000 scale topographical and geological maps and aerial photographs were used. The stratigraphical cross sections of these terraces were drawn, soil and gravel samples were interprated, the fossils were determined and microfossils were analyzed, and also the geomorphology of the area had been examined. The geomorphological maps of the terrace locations and the photoaerial maps of the surrounding area of the observed terraces with 3D by stereoscope were drawn. By means of these maps and field studies, the neotectonic progress of the South Black Sea Coastal Zone were interprated. In conclusion of the office, laboratory and field studies, a marine terrace with fossil the surrounding of the Şile settlement in the west Black Sea coasts of Turkey was found and dated with radiometrical analysis and an uplift was interprated by the control of the fault.
