Dr. Alper Saglanmak graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Istanbul University in 2009 and defended his PhD thesis in 2015. The researcher who obtained the title of associate professor in 2025 continues to work at the same university in that position. His research interests include the effect of implant macro geometry and loading protocols on implant success, periimplant soft tissue complications and solutions, and 3D technologies in guided tissue regeneration. He has a registered patent named 'PERSON-SPECIFIC BIODEGRADABLE MEMBRANE PRODUCED BY 3-DIMENSIONAL PRINTER OR SELECTIVE LASER SINTERING', book chapter authorships, many national articles, oral presentations in national and international symposiums and congresses, and multidisciplinary studies conducted with international organizations and academicians. He is an active member of the European Association for Osseointegration and the Turkish Oral Implantology Association and a speaker for the Turkish Oral Implantology Association.
