Biography
Prof. Dr. Atıl Yüksel was born in Istanbul in 1953. He visited Gazi Elementary School in İzmir, and Kadıköy Middle School in Istanbul. He started Haydarpaşa High School and graduated from Fenerbahçe High School. In the year 1976 he started medical education in Istanbul School of Medicine, and graduated in 1982. Between 1982-1985 he served his compulsory service in Şanlıurfa Maternity Hospital. He was appointed lecturer in 1985 at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Istanbul School of Medicine. He was promoted to Assistant Professor in 1989, and Associate Professor in 1989 at the Division of Perinatology. He was promoted to Professor in 1995 in the same division. He remains still active in his position
