Biography
He was born in 1967 in Gaziantep. He completed his primary and secondary education in Gaziantep Şehitkamil Primary School and secondary and high school education. After have training for 2 years at the Physics Engineering Department of Gaziantep Faculty of Engineering in 1986, he entered Istanbul University, Faculty of Letters, Department of Arabic Language and Literature. After graduating from the Faculty of Letters in 1992, he taught Turkish and English at Bagcilar Naci Eksi High School as a contracted teacher.
After completing his doctorate degree in 2001, he completed his military service in 2002 as a translator. In 2004-2005 academic year, Abdullah Kizilcik received a national scholarship from the Ministry of Education and got training from Jordanian University. He became an Associate Professor in 2007 and a Professor in 2013.
Professor Dr. Abdullah Kizilcik, as well as in the field of education and training activities at İstanbul University, he is currently working as the Mevlana Coordinator of the Faculty of Letters, the Middle-East Coordinator of the IUYOS, and the Director of the Center for Implementation and Research of the Farabi Eurasian Studies.
