Biyografi
I am a marine biologist specializing in fisheries and ecosystem management. I earned my PhD in marine science from Istanbul University in 2010 and later gained valuable experience in fisheries conservation as a visiting scholar at GEOMAR in Kiel, Germany. With over 20 years of experience, I have worked as a project coordinator, consultant, and expert on various fisheries management and ecosystem conservation projects at both national and international levels.
Since 2015, I have been a senior researcher at the Institute of Marine Sciences and Management at Istanbul University. My research focuses on ecosystem changes driven by fishing impacts and environmental conditions. I have a strong interest in applying the ecosystem approach to fisheries to enhance management practices.
