A graduate of literary studies at the Faculty of Polish Studies at the Jagiellonian University. I also studied at the University of Warsaw (Baltic Studies) and University College London (SSEES). In 2020 I defended a PhD dissertation on Gustaw Manteuffel, a historiographer of the Polish Livonia. Also, the borderland, multinational discourses of the I Rzeczpospolita are in the scope of my interests, as well as the peripheral heritage and tradition in the 'central' Polish narration. Scholarship holder of the Governments of the Republic of Lithuania (2010) and Latvia (2013). My book 'Historian from Polish Livonia : Gustaw Manteuffel (1832-1916)' was awarded 'Przegląd Wschodni' Prize in 2023 for the best publication in the category History of Poles in the East.
