Nuestro grupo ispedcev de formación de traductores literarios español > turco y turco > español tiene como objetivo preparar a nuestros estudiantes como traductores literarios de español a turco para el mercado editorial según criterios realistas.

La preparación de los estudiantes universitarios no es la más adecuada para las realidades del mercado editorial, por lo que buscamos guiarles a través de la traducción de diversos textos orientados a unos lectores que desconozcan el original y de una serie de cuestionarios que les permitan autoevaluarse. Queremos asimismo ir publicando los resultados parciales de nuestro proyecto, así como otros artículos escritos por los miembros del proyecto y relacionados directamente con la traducción literaria español > turco y turco >español.

Tenemos muy presente que la traducción literaria español > turco y, en menor medida, turco > español es una de las posibles salidas de nuestros estudiantes y, por lo tanto, nos gustaría formarles para responder a las expectativas del mercado editorial. La importancia de nuestro proyecto no solo reside en que nunca antes se ha hecho nada parecido en Turquía, sino que además podemos contribuir a responder a una demanda real de traductores literarios español > turco y turco > español.

Para nuestras actividades usamos como referencia el marco PETRA-E. 

The purpose of the group ispedcev is to assess the level of our students as literary translators from Spanish to Turkish for the publishing market and to improve their level as really demanded by the literary translation market.

Since the training they receive as translators does not meet the requirements of the publishing market, they will be encouraged to translate different texts to enhance their skills and, through questionnaires, to test and assess the challenges they encounter as part of the research.

Considering that literary translation is one of the possible career paths after their studies in the Department of Spanish Language and Literature, it can easily be said that the aim of the research is to produce sufficient and qualified literary translators for the publishing market. The significance of the research lies not only in the fact that something similar has not been done before but also in the real demand for literary translators from Spanish to Turkish.

For all our activities we use as a reference the PETRA-E framework for literary translation prepared by a group of European institutıons.
