Biyografi

Ece Kilerci, İstanbul Üniversitesi Astronomi ve Uzay Bilimleri ve Fizik Bölümlerinin ÇAP programından 2005 yılında mezun olmuştur. Yüksek Lisansını Boğaziçi Fizik bölümünde astrofizik alanında bitirmiştir. Doktorasını 2014 yılında Kopenhag Üniversitesi Niels Bohr Enstitüsünde, Aktif Galaksi Çekirdekleri ve Kızıl ötesi galaksiler üzerine yaptığı çalışmalarla tamamlamıştır. 2017'de Tayvan NTHU Üniversitesinde doktora sonrası araştırmacı olarak çalışmıştır. 2019 yılında TÜBİTAK 2218 programı desteği ile İstanbul Üniversitesi doktora sonrası araştırmacı olarak çalışmıştır. 2020-2022 yılları arasında Sabancı Üniversitesinde, Mühendislik ve Doğa Bilimleri Fakültesi bursuyla doktora sonrası araştırmacı olarak galaksiler alanındaki çalışmalarına devam etmiştir. Sonrasında Sabancı Üniversitesi TGD Bölümünde misafir öğretim görevlisi olarak görev yapmıştır. 2025 yılında İstanbul Üniversitesinde Dr. Öğr. Üyesi olarak çalışmaya başlamıştır.
