Biography
Gonca Atici is a Finance Professor and Department Head at Istanbul University, School of Business. Professor Atici has a BA in Economics in English from Istanbul University (1997), an MS in Money and Banking from Istanbul University (1999), and a Ph.D. in Economics from Istanbul University (2006). Her research interests lie in Macroeconomics, Digital Economy, Blockchain, Financial System, Corporate Governance, Financing of SMEs, Money and Banking, and Islamic Finance. She has taught Corporate Finance, Business Finance, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, and Digital Economy at both graduate and undergraduate levels. She is a referee to both national and international journals. She is the author of the book titled "Digital Economy, Blockchain and Financial System".
